The University has about 25,000 pupils,
which is close to the population of Starkville. While the region has
a very long history, it has consistently remained little, conserving
the Indian Mound Campground and other important historical sites.
Despite the quiet essence of the area, there are plenty of local
events. The Magnolia Film Festival, for example, is certainly one of
the most prominent film festivals in the state. You'll also find
several music festivals. While nearly all folks living in the city
are pupils, there is plenty of families in the area because of the
tranquil town environment and education system that is
exceptional
